Start with what you have

A few vegetables, some eggs and a little rice. Instead of finding a recipe and then filling your basket, start with those ingredients. Culy is Cuisly’s assistant: a place to describe what you feel like eating, ask for a meal idea and refine a suggestion.

Include the ingredients, the number of people and the time you have. These details give the response a useful starting point, with room for a combination you might not have considered.

A clear request makes a difference

You do not need a long message. A few concrete details can make your request more useful.

Example request

“I have courgettes, three eggs and rice. Any dinner ideas for two, with twenty minutes of preparation?”

Then add a preference: an oven recipe, an ingredient to replace or a simpler version. Think of the conversation as a recipe draft you improve one question at a time.

From a suggestion to your recipe

A suggestion is a starting point. Read through the ingredients and steps, adjust the portions, then save the version that works for you in your collection. Your changes turn the idea into a recipe of your own.

Our tip: start with a short request. Refine one detail at a time, then keep the version you would like to cook again.

Understand the AI options

The options available in Cuisly may vary with the app version, your device and your plan. On-device processing and cloud services have different constraints; a model name alone cannot guarantee a recipe’s result.

Check the options and cost displayed in the app before starting a request. To understand the journey from an idea to a recipe, read how Cuisly’s AI imagines your recipes.

Keep the final say

A generated recipe is not a kitchen-tested recipe. Check the quantities, cooking times and suggested ingredients. Images illustrate a dish idea without promising the exact result on your plate.

For allergies, do not rely on a suggestion alone: check ingredients and product labels. Our article on reliability explores the limitations to keep in mind.
